Saskia has an impressionistic and painterly feel with its softly shading tones and subtle textures. The effect is achieved by using a printed warp, this is then woven with areas of weft texture breaking the surface and softening the print. The effect is extremely three dimensional and the overall impression is closer to a painting. A very special fabric in two harmonious colour stories.
