Contador

Contador - sideboard by Wewood

A special edition of the Contador sideboard, limited to just 10 pieces and featuring brass and leather details, created to celebrate Wewood's 10th anniversary.

A tribute to traditional Portuguese counters once found in old shops and apothecaries, Contador features drawers in different sizes, carefully arranged to meet a variety of storage needs. This distinctive asymmetry not only reflects the charm of its historical inspiration but also makes the piece a versatile storage solution, suitable for different uses and settings, from living rooms and studies to hallways and offices.

Each drawer is designed for a specific purpose: the smaller ones are ideal for storing stationery, personal accessories or cherished keepsakes, while the larger compartments can accommodate documents, textiles and household essentials. This thoughtfully arranged storage system allows Contador to adapt effortlessly to the needs of contemporary living while preserving the spirit of traditional craftsmanship.

Crafted entirely from solid wood, just like the original furniture pieces that inspired it, Contador is designed to stand the test of time. The quality solid wood, enhanced by warm brass details and luxurious burgundy leather, is combined with traditional woodworking techniques to create a sturdy and durable structure that develops even more character over the years. Every detail, from the precision of the joinery to the natural grain of the wood, celebrates exceptional craftsmanship.

Contador is much more than a practical storage unit: it is a piece with a story to tell, bringing warmth, texture and a sense of heritage to any interior. Its elegant proportions and natural materials make it a timeless addition to the home, combining functionality with an understated and refined beauty that never fades.
